North Pointe Ballet, Northeast Ohio’s new professional ballet company, was founded by Janet Dziak in 2016. NPB’s mission is to make classical ballet accessible to the community it serves. It offers family-friendly, easy-to-understand, professional ballet productions in the western suburbs of Cleveland. The performances feature classically-trained professional dancers who provide the foundation of the cast.
North Pointe Ballet’s season includes community outreach tours, bringing fully-costumed, professional dancers into local elementary schools, libraries, nursing homes and treatment centers. NPB is committed to bringing the arts to the special needs community and offers a special sensory-friendly performance each season, with specific accommodations made for individuals on the Autism spectrum or with other sensory needs.
The North Ridgeville–based company performs its season in the beautiful 1,000-seat Hope Community Church Auditorium in Olmsted Falls, including Cinderella May 5-7, 2017, and the Nutcracker December 8-10, 2017.
